MUST mesocentre is enable to fit to multiple needs around scientific computing and storage.

The field of High Energy Physics, which covers both research fields in particle physics but also in astroparticles, represents a community that consumes a great deal of resources provided by the mesocenter. Either through international collaborations (WLCG, CTA, …) or for more local needs (LAPP), MUST mesocentre provides the computation and storage resources that are used by the community.

The exploration of theoretical mathematical models (LAPTH) such as the evolution of the universe or dynamic models (LEPMI) such as studies on the migration of molecules through media (polymers, etc.) requiring significant simulations for which the mesocenter turns out to be a leading tool.

Coupled with the large and diverse computing possibilities (scalar, parallel, GPU), MUST storage capacities and access performance to scientific data allow the implementation of important analyzes. Either in image analysis (LISTIC), the study of rare processes (LAPP, LAPTH), the identification of rare processes (EDYTEM) or simply in the resolution of numerical problems (LAMA), the mesocenter is a valuable asset.

CAD or computer algebra tools such as MATHEMATICA, MATLAB, MAPLE, ANSYS, ABAQUS … can be installed and thus benefit from a significant computing power.
