Within MUST, dedicated teams ensure the proper functioning of the platform and offer support to users for scientific computing.
The system administration team
This team is in charge of the operational side of MUST in order to guarantee the commitments made both to LCG (LHC Computing Grid) and EGI (European Grid Initiative) but also to local users.
It is also responsible for technological studies and associated calls for tenders.
The scientific computing support team
This team is in charge of user support for getting started with the platform and offers its expertise in areas such as high performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence (use of GPU processors), data management …
This role requires a good understanding of the tools used by each experiment, in particular the grid tools intended for the analyzes of ATLAS and LHCb experiments, but also the tools used in the context of CTA or LC or the USMB laboratories.
